Polish forward scored 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds and stole the ball twice for a team high efficiency rating of 14.

Angeliki Vintsilaiou led all scorers with 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the field.

Greek guard had three assists, two steals and six forced fouls.

Andjelina Radič also finished in double figures – she scored 10 points and stole the ball four times.

Jessica Jackson (Arkansas 2017) contributed with nine points, four rebounds and three steals.

Luīze Šepte led RSU`s comeback attempt and registered six of her seven steals in the second half.

Rīga captain scored nine points and forced six fouls but struggled from the charity stripe.

Latvia U16 national team center Evelīna Otto had nine points, 16 rebounds and two steals for a game high efficiency rating of 17.

Alise Bruzinska chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.

Enija Vīksne dished out eight assists and registered three steals too.

Key stats

Polonia made just three shots from the three point line for a 16% accuracy.

The tournament hosts controlled the paint (36-28) and scored more points off turnovers (23-15) to build a 17 point lead in the end of the third quarter 49-34.

RSU thanks to Šepte`s tenacious defense returned into the game and cut the gap to seven points with 45 seconds to play.

Matīss Rožlapa`s team added two more steals but couldn`t score in the last two possessions.

Polonia Warszawa improved to 2-0, while RSU dropped to 0-2.
