SKK Polonia Warszawa stayed behind for most of the time but never stopped the hunt and used its supremacy in the paint to beat TTT Rīga 74-70 on Sunday, December 11, at the Daugava sports hall in Rīga, Latvia.

Angeliki Vintsilaiou scored nine points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out five assists and stole the ball three times.
Greek international posted those numbers in less than 19 minutes before she injured her right hand.
Emilia Kośla shined again for TTT Rīga.
A Warsaw born guard scored a game high 20 points and forced eight fouls for a 9-of-10 shooting from the free throw line.
Kośla added six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Kate Vilka sparked a 9-2 run in the first quarter.
Shooting guard scored 17 points, including a 6-of-10 effort from the charity stripe.
Vilka forced seven fouls as well.
Katrīna Trankale made all four field goal attempts, including a 3-of-3 shooting from the deep.
Liepāja native finished the game with 11 points and a team high efficiency rating of 16.

Polonia outscored TTT in the paint 42-16 (first half 18-6) but trailed for most of the way.

Kate Vilka forced a foul in her last drive and split the free throws to make it a single possession game with 10,7 seconds on the clock 73-70.
Baško made a defensive stop and fouled out with 4,0 seconds left.

A 5-0 record places the Czarne Koszule in a pole-position.
TTT improved its positions too as the Rigans have a 2-0 record against the Czech teams.
Both teams so far have better results in the EWBL than in their national championships.
