Kateřina Káňová shines bright in Ostrava win




Kateřina Káňová had a perfect game as SBŠ Ostrava secured a 72-64 win over Frankivsk on Saturday, February 4, at the Centrum Sportu Wilanow in Warsaw, Poland.

Kateřina Káňová scored 17 points on 8/9 shooting from the field and 1/2 from the charity stripe.


Ostrava forward grabbed eight rebounds too.


Káňová dished out three assists and blocked two shots for a game high efficiency rating of 25.


Ilina Selcova had 13 points.


North Macedonian guard registered four rebounds, two assists and three steals.


Tereza Motyčáková posted a game high seven assists.


Ostrava captain contributed with five points and two steals.


Daria Kononunchenko led Frankivsk with 14 points on 5/7 shooting from the field and 4/8 from the free throw line.


Center contributed with six rebounds, four assists and one block for a team high efficiency rating of 17.


Karyna Panchuk also scored 14 points, including a 2/4 effort from the three point line.


Olha Alekseichyk rocked in defense and registered impressive nine steals.


Frankivsk captain had 11 points and seven rebounds.
