TTT set the final of the Undefeated

TTT Rīga used aggressive defense against Dynamo Moscow ball handlers to secure a convincing 82-58 win and qualify for the third consecutive EEWBL final.

Shey Peddy was huge for the hosts. She posted 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and…zero turnovers. Meanwhile, Dynamo point guard Lindsay Allen was fouled out just after 16:08 minutes of playing time.

Kate Krēsliņa provided fire power from the bench. She entered the game with a powerful drive to the basket and added two quick assists enroute to a +17 ratio in the first quarter along with Rūta Veidere. Krēsliņa scored 13 points and dished five assists.

Liene Priede also was impressive. She had eight points in just 11 minutes of action.

Albina Razheva replied with 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field. She added eight free throws and five assists, while Kelsey Lang posted 10 points and seven rebounds.

Key stats

TTT bench outrebounded their opponents 38-13. Only two players – Krēsliņa and Peddy – played more than 25 minutes.

Martins Zibarts team scored 31 points in the last eight minutes of the first quarter to build a 16 point advantage 31-15.

Dynamo players received two unsportsmanlike fouls in the first half.

The hosts scored more points in fast breaks (17-7) and were superior in shooting from the three point line (10/26 vs 1/12).
