Tsmoki Minsk fired from all cylinders to build a 32 point lead at halftime and beat the hosts Rostov Don SFEDU 72-53 on Saturday, March 16, at Rostov on Don.
Rostov on Don prepared well and presented an All-Star lineup, highlighted by the Olympic champions (Barcelona 1992) Elena Shvaybovich (born in Minsk) and Irina Minkh (Dynamo Novosibirsk).
Tickets to the game were sold out on Wednesday.

Rachel Therior set the tone early and hit two three-pointers. Tsmoki guard finished the game with 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field.
Nebraska standout connected 6-of-8 three pointers. She also had three steals.
Danielle McCray (Kansas) and Shannon McCallum joined the steal party with four and three steals respectively.
McCray also had 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while McCallum added seven points, five rebounds and four assists.
Viktoryia Hasper chipped in 10 points.
Valeriia Iakovleva replied with nine points in defeat.
Tsmoki Minsk went on a 30-7 opening run to build a 23 point lead in the first ten minutes.
Andrei Vavlev`s team extended its lead up to 40 points early in the second half 57-17.
The Dragons forced 11 turnovers and scored 15 points off turnovers before the halftime break.
The Panthers forced two turnovers and scored no points off turnovers in the first 20 minutes to trail by 32 points 49-17.
Three Minsk players posted double figures in the first half, while no Rostov Don player had more than four points.
Theriot scored more three pointers (4/5) in the first half than Rostov Don in the whole game (3/22).
Rostov Don SFEDU improved its performance after the break and finished the game with a 36-15 run but it was too little and too late.
