Kress scores game winning shot, Horizont takes second win in Brno

Marina Kress hit a game winning shot with 17 seconds left in regulation to help Horizont Minsk beat Kibirkštis Vilnius 66-65 on Sunday, October 14, at Sport Hala Rosnička in Brno, Czech Republic.

Evgeniia Korotygina was recognized as the Minsk`s best player in the game against Žabiny Brno. Two days later she made a game winning assist to Kress. One minute earlier she also gave her team a one point lead 64-63.

Korotygina finished the game with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists for a team high efficiency rating of 15. She also connected all six attempts from the charity stripe.

Kress scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds. Belarus center also dished three assists. Point guard Volha Ziuzkova had 11 points, three assists and two steals.

Justina Kraujunaite replied with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field. She also had six rebounds and one steal for a efficiency rating of 15.

Gabija Meškonyte scored 11 points but missed the last shot.
