Dynamo Novosibirsk reach century mark in memorable debut

Dynamo Novosibirsk took off for a strong start and delivered a 108-51 blow to Olimpia Grodno on Wednesday, October 9, at Roston on Don.

Miah Marie Langlois filled the stat line. Novosibirsk guard scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, including 4-of-7 from the three point line. She also had five rebounds, three assists and two steals for a efficiency rating of 25.

Elizaveta Krymova was even more deadly from the perimeter. She connected 5-of-9 three point shots. Forward added three rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots.

Ruth Elizabeth Hamblin, Olga Vorobeva and Jamie Grace Scott scored 12 points each.

Yana Kotova and Yuliya Chaykovskaya had 11 and 10 points respectively, while former grabbed nine rebounds too. Finally, Victoria Cheren shined with nine points, ten rebounds and seven steals.

Yuliya Vasilevich scored 17 points for Grodno. Nadzeya Nadzezhka followed with 10 points.

 

Key stats

Seven Dynamo players scored in double figures, while Victoria Cheren had another impressive stat line.

Novosibirsk registered second highest mark in three pointers made (16, Orange Lions had 17 last week at Liepāja).

Dynamo also won the battle of rebounds (45-27) and turned the ball over just nine times, compared to 19 turnovers for Olimpia.

Novosibirsk is the first team who scored at least 100 points this season.
